The group
The group was founded in June 2011 with the aim of bringing the patients and practice closer together.
It represents patients’ views and acts as a link between the practice and its patients.
It is managed by a committee of which the following were voted in as:
- Chairman – John Joyce
- Secretary – Daphne Littleboy
- Treasurer – Elaine Bounds
All members are patients of the practice.
The committee meets on average every two months.
New members
The PPG would like to extend its active membership in a number of ways and would love to hear from you.
Everyone is welcome to join the group, and it helps us to have the views of patients from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are also exploring ways you could become an email or Facebook member to receive regular updates.

Join our Patient Participation Group
All registered patients are able to join our Patient Participation Group. People of all genders, ages, ethnicities, and those with health conditions and disabilities are encouraged to join.
Members should as far as possible, be representative of the surgery population.
